IT’S CIRCULAR

In partnership with Pophouse, our teams worked to create a space that fostered connection for The Rock Ventures & Rock Family of Companies Headquarters.

Spanning two floors – and connected by a monumental circular stairway – the office demonstrates the spirit of a culturally-focused organization and celebrates the work being accomplished within.

THE PROJECT

Mod’s work started by creating a complete set of working drawings from the architect’s elevations and the designer’s renderings. The drawings became part of the construction documents, assisting the coordination of finish work with all trades.

Our Team crafted wood casework, panels, columns, stairs, doors, and window frames. There was more than wood in this project – we also provided custom stones, custom metal panels, fabric panels and leather upholstery too.

Above: the auditorium with a grand arc of seating created with Eames chairs. The mural is painted on acoustic panels.

Above: the walk in closet has wood and metal panels and is filled with a collection of Cavaliers gear.

Above: the philanthropy gallery has laser-engraved boards with stories from local organizations run by the Rocket Community Fund and the Gilbert Family Foundation. The Biophilic wall, made of rift-sawn white oak and preserved moss, creates a quiet, peaceful space.
